Atlus announced during the latest Nintendo Direct that Metaphor: ReFantazio will be released on Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2026. This marks the availability of Katsura Hashino’s game on Nintendo’s hybrid console two years after its initial launch on other platforms. The Switch version will enable a broader audience to experience Metaphor: ReFantazio, highlighting its ambitious narrative, an archetype system that allows players to choose and combine combat classes with distinct identities, and its renowned time management system, which is inspired by the Persona series. The game also features a hybrid combat system that combines turn-based battles with real-time action, similar to the most recent games in Falcom’s Trails series. Metaphor: ReFantazio is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2026, at a competitive price. A new artwork from character designer Shigenori Soejima has been unveiled for this announcement. The game will be distributed with a game key card.
