Team Ninja has announced Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, a sequel to the action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The game is scheduled for release in early 2027 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. The sequel continues the formula established by its predecessor, featuring demanding combat, demonic creatures, and a fantastical interpretation of Chinese history. Set in ancient China during the Three Kingdoms period, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember will explore the twilight of the Eastern Han Dynasty, a period of conflict among warlords and a quest for immortality. Players will once again control a nameless champion whose destiny intertwines with a phoenix emerging from wartime devastation. The game is developed by Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo.
