2K Games and Hangar 13 have announced “Man of Honor,” a narrative expansion for Mafia: The Old Country. The DLC, set to release on August 14th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, will continue Enzo Favara’s story in Sicily in 1905, months after the main game’s events. Now a trusted member of the Torrisi family, Enzo is tasked with accompanying Ennio Salieri, who has recently been released from prison. Salieri is a pivotal figure in the Mafia series, a name that will resonate with fans as he later becomes one of the central figures in Mafia and Mafia 2. This expansion provides a deeper look into his past, featuring two new story chapters that explore his life before becoming the American crime boss. “Man of Honor” will depict a younger Salieri in Sicily, driven by his ambition to reach America. This goal directly aligns with Enzo’s own plans to leave Italy, as depicted in The Old Country. The expansion also introduces Cesare Massaro, who looks up to Salieri, adding a new dynamic to Enzo and Cesare’s friendship.

Hangar 13 has updated Salieri’s character model to appear younger, inspired by Glenn Taran’s likeness. Andrew Russell will provide voiceovers and motion capture for the English dub. Beyond the main story, “Man of Honor” introduces new challenges within the Free Ride mode. Players can retrieve goods from Salieri’s rivals by following clues to their stashed items. The expansion also introduces new missions designed to offer a more engaging experience for tasks such as shopping trips. This pack will also include new weapons, vehicles, and environments, with a particular focus on unexplored locations within Valle Dorata. “Man of Honor” promises to explore a previously untapped period in Enzo’s rise within Sicilian organized crime and offer fresh insights into Salieri’s past deeds, some of which may be unfamiliar to players of previous games. The expansion will also add new amulets to the game. Players can experience these new additions starting August 14th.
