Sony Interactive Entertainment has released new details about the PlayStation FlexStrike, an arcade stick initially announced in summer 2025. The FlexStrike will be available on August 6, 2026, for both PlayStation 5 and PC. This launch will coincide with the release of Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls, a brawler developed in collaboration with Marvel, PlayStation, and Arc System Works. The FlexStrike arcade stick will be priced at £179.99 in the UK and ¥34,980 in Japan. It features a built-in rechargeable battery and a DualSense touchpad for an enhanced gaming experience. The restrictor gates can be easily swapped without the need for tools, allowing for customization between square, circular, or octagonal configurations. Sony aims to appeal to both novice and veteran fighting game players with the FlexStrike. The device supports both wired and wireless connectivity via PlayStation Link technology, boasting a low latency of 4 milliseconds, designed to reassure competitive players. For stability during gameplay, the FlexStrike features an anti-slip base. Its ergonomic design includes a slightly shorter joystick and angled buttons to reduce fatigue during extended play sessions.

The FlexStrike includes a rigid transport case, a feature often sold separately by competitors for approximately €50. In addition to the FlexStrike, Sony is also releasing a 27-inch gaming monitor and Pulse Elevate wireless speakers. Preorders for the FlexStrike and the gaming monitor will be available soon. The Pulse Elevate wireless speakers are scheduled for release in late 2026, with preorders opening on June 12, 2026. The speakers will be priced at £199.99.
