Unrailed 2: Back On Track will launch on June 11th, exiting Early Access on PC and arriving on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game is available for preorder now at a discounted price of $14.99, with the full price set at $19.99. Unrailed 2 originally entered Early Access on PC on November 7, 2024. A new trailer has been released, showcasing the game’s narrative that unfolds across new environments featuring branching paths. Players will encounter new points of interest, side quests, bosses, and random events within these biomes. The game also features unlockable cosmetics for character customization and rewards and permanent upgrades that enhance each crew’s journey. Unrailed 2 includes a Terrain Conductor mode for custom map creation, allowing players to explore community-made maps. For competitive players, an 8-player Versus mode is available. The launch will introduce features designed to increase replayability, including character and train upgrades, community-created maps, and various game modes such as Time, Sandbox, and Versus. A free demo for Unrailed 2 is currently available on Nintendo Switch. The game is developed by Indoor Astronaut, an independent studio based in Zurich, Switzerland, focused on cooperative gaming experiences.
