Moscow Game Hub Festival to Showcase Russian Games in São Paulo The Moscow Game Hub, a central institution for Russia's gaming industry, will host a festival in São Paulo, Brazil, from April 30 to May 3, 2026. This event represents the first significant presentation of Russian video game projects to the Brazilian public and industry professionals. The Moscow Game Hub provides comprehensive support for content creation, from initial concept to global release. It houses 52 resident companies, including 44 game development studios and 8 animation studios, within a 55,000-square-meter facility equipped with motion capture and sound recording studios. A key element of the festival will be a specially designed bus that will tour São Paulo, offering attendees the opportunity to experience free-to-play games developed by studios within the Moscow Game Hub. The bus tour schedule is as follows: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: First stop at Avenida Paulista (corner of Rua Pamplona) 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM: Second stop at Estádio do Pacaembu (square in front of the stadium) 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM: Third stop at Parque Ibirapuera (Portão 10, in front of the lake)
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Fourth stop at Login House EXP (Rua Harmonia, 21, Vila Madalena) The festival's opening will commence at Avenida Paulista at 10:00 AM local time. From this starting point, the branded bus will transform into a mobile gaming space, visiting key locations throughout the city. Each stop will feature a 45 to 60-minute program, including presentations of game projects, visitor testing sessions, an activated mobile gaming area, and musical performances. Following the city circuit, guests are invited to Login House EXP for a special program showcasing resident projects from the Moscow Game Hub and organized gaming sessions. From 6:00 PM, an event hosted by Moscow Game Hub partners will take place at the Intercity São Paulo Anhembi, with attendance expected from representatives of the games industry, media, and content creators.
This festival is part of a broader business mission to Brazil by residents and partners of the Moscow cluster of video games and animation. Over its four-day duration, the event will provide locals and industry professionals opportunities to explore new releases from Moscow-based companies. Brazil is recognized as a leading country in the region for gaming enthusiasts, boasting an audience of over 100 million people. The festival will encompass both street venues and computer clubs, where guests can try out nine projects across various genres, including adventure and strategy. A cyber sports marathon is also scheduled at one of the major gaming centers. A business mission involving ten Moscow companies is also underway in São Paulo from April 28 to May 1. This mission anticipates over 300 business meetings with representatives from Brazilian institutions focused on creative economy development and potential partners. Discussions are planned on topics such as the publication and localization of Russian games, licensing, digital platform placement, joint creation of game and animated products, and technology exchange.
Moscow's Game & Animation Hub Unveils Comprehensive Facilities for Global Content Production
The Moscow cluster of video games and animation, which opened in November 2025, offers comprehensive facilities for developing content of any complexity. These include motion capture studios, sound recording studios, a high-resolution cinema hall, a lecture room, a cyber sports arena, and exhibition pavilions. Among its residents are 52 companies: 44 in video games and 8 in animation. Earlier statements from Sergey Sobyanin emphasized the economic and political significance of establishing clusters for cinema and video games in Moscow, noting that consumed content shapes citizens' global perspectives, understanding of reality, and priorities. Moscow, in conjunction with Skolkovo and the cinema cluster, aims to create the world's largest center for cinema, media, games, and animation production. The festival schedule will also include DJ sets, networking opportunities, and the chance to meet representatives from the Moscow video game industry.
