Digital Bros Group, through its subsidiary 505 Games, has acquired the intellectual property rights for the Wuchang: Fallen Feathers franchise. The deal, valued at 32 million yuan (approximately USD 4.6 million), secures the game and the Lenzee Games studio, preventing their potential closure. In early April, reports emerged regarding the possible shutdown of Lenzee Games and the termination of the team behind Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. 505 Games’ investment of USD 4.6 million averted this outcome, granting the Digital Bros group full property rights and all future sales revenue without royalty obligations to the developer. Despite facing operational challenges, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has demonstrated commercial success, with over 130,000 simultaneous players on Steam. The game was released on July 24, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, and was available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. By March 31, 2026, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers had sold over one million copies, generating more than 30 million in revenue before taxes and commissions. This performance validates the game’s strength and its long-term potential.

505 Games Expands Portfolio with Wuchang Acquisition, Boosting Franchise and Diversifying Offerings

Digital Bros Group stated that this acquisition not only provides future opportunities for the Wuchang franchise but also strengthens 505 Games’ existing portfolio. This portfolio includes titles such as Assetto Corsa, Ghostrunner, Puzzle Quest, and the PC version of Death Stranding. In 2024, 505 Games sold its stake in Control back to Remedy Entertainment.
