Ingrid, the powerful reality manipulator, is joining Street Fighter 6 as the fourth and final Year 3 character. Capcom will release Ingrid on May 28 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Ingrid debuted in Capcom Fighting Evolution in 2004 and later appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max in 2006. Players with the Year 3 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass can access Ingrid starting May 28. Her first outfit offers a new look, while her second is her classic purple school uniform. Ingrid’s abilities include: Sun Power: Ingrid can power up to four times, enhancing the damage, range, and follow-up options of her attacks. Sun Shot: A light ball that changes direction based on button input and hold duration. Sun Flare: A beam of light fired forward. Heavy versions expend sun power, while light versions gather it for combo opportunities. Solar Burst: An aerial diagonal beam. The light version stores sun power, while other versions expend it for stronger effects.

Ingrid Joins Street Fighter 6’s Year 3 Roster – Powerful Solar Warrior Unleashes Shining Sun, Order of the Sun, and Cosmic Ray on May 28th

Sun Rise: Light, medium, and heavy spinning attacks that can lead to combos. Sun Veil: A counter that knocks back attackers but does not stop multi-hit attacks or Super Arts, and cannot fully block projectiles. Vanishing Sun: A short-range teleport with three options. Ingrid also features several Super Arts: Shining Sun (Level 1): A magic-infused kick. Order of the Sun (Level 2): A beacon of light that blasts enemies with solar power from above, depending on button presses. Cosmic Ray (Level 3): An energy beam that reaches distant opponents. Capcom released Ingrid’s Street Fighter 6 Season 3 trailer on April 23, 2026. Originally planned for Capcom’s now-cancelled Fighting AllStars game in 2003, Ingrid now joins Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex as part of the Year 3 roster. Street Fighter 6, which has sold over six million units, includes Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub modes. As the final Year 3 character, Ingrid’s Costume 3 will be released simultaneously for all four Year 3 characters.
