Following its initial release on PC, The Sims 4 Marketplace has arrived on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, giving players direct access to community creations like custom Sims, homes, and stories directly within the game. This update, launched on April 16, 2026, marks the first time console players can browse and purchase community-designed content from within the game. New Maker Packs, offering fresh avenues for personalization, will be released weekly. Players can purchase Creation Packages and Kits using the in-game currency, Moola, through the Marketplace. Kits are no longer available in the PlayStation or Microsoft stores, but Expansion Packs, Game Packs, and Object Packs remain available.

With the April 16 update, Maker Pack storage is now integrated into the game files on consoles. Kits are also included in the game files for console versions, unlike the PC and Mac versions. PlayStation 4 and PS5 players receive 16GB of storage, while Xbox One, Series X/S, and Xbox Cloud users can access up to 50GB. This storage expands as it is used, up to the maximum limit. When using Xbox Cloud Gaming, players may need to redownload their Maker Pack content via the Marketplace Download Manager before loading saved games at the start of each session. This shared storage space applies to all Simmer accounts on a console, whether PlayStation or Xbox. Furthermore, the update addresses many issues previously reported on PC and Mac, improving overall experience and stability across all platforms. Players who purchase Maker Packs or Kits will not need to restart their game, and their purchases directly support the creators. Players who access the Marketplace before May 30, 2026, will receive The Sims 4 Country Kitchen Kit for free. This offer, available on all platforms, lets players expand their culinary creativity with new kitchen counters, appliances, and décor.
