Runners Test Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 at São Paulo International Marathon

Huawei showcased its Watch GT Runner 2 at the 30th São Paulo International Marathon, where it served as the official timer. Runners, influencers, and athletes tested the device during the event. Huawei partners Alice Yuri and Leonardo Santana both achieved third-place finishes in the women's and men's half marathon (21 km) categories, respectively. Yuri, returning from an injury, beat her previous course time with the help of the Huawei Watch GT Runner 2, which she credited with helping her maintain a consistent pace. She also reviewed her sleep data on the watch to optimize her recovery. Santana, in his first race since December, also secured third place and stated that the watch contributed to his result. The Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is part of Huawei's Active Rings program for runners of all levels. Running clubs like Runners Brasil and Hyp participated in the marathon event, providing the watch with exposure to a wide audience. Developed with input from elite athletes like Eliud Kipchoge, the watch is engineered for high performance and comfort.
