The Sealed Truth update introduces a Slag Heap technician named Diod, who claims to have discovered a route to the deepest levels of the X18 lab and seeks something specific hidden within. Players assume the role of Skif, who must escort Diod into the lab in exchange for payment, knowing that nothing in The Zone is without complications. GSC Game World warns that this expedition carries significant risk, with unforeseen dangers and consequences, but promises substantial rewards, including money, valuable equipment, lost knowledge, and crucial secrets hidden within X18. This new content adds approximately 30 hours of gameplay through three new missions featuring AI-driven enemies and constantly evolving threats. Players must carefully manage their resources while exploring these hazardous environments.
