This Saturday, TV Brasil Kids will premiere the new season of Os Chocolix at 8:15 AM. The national series airs Tuesday through Saturday mornings, with all thirteen seven-minute episodes available on the TV Brasil Play app. Created by Jacqueline Shor, this early childhood show follows the chocolate family—Dona Branca, Don Cacau, kids Chocomark and Chocolyne, plus sweet mascot Docecookie—as they face adventures with Trufao and his crew. The categories focused on childhood and preteen years received the most funding, with R 32 million from the Audiovisual Sector Fund (FSA-ANCINE) allocated to produce eight new works. TV Brasil prioritizes backing independent production and showcasing national content, offering these programs to public channels. EBC shares the material with interested broadcasters who join the project, and these shows then broadcast on TV Brasil’s programming via hundreds of stations that are part of the Public Communication Network (RNCP), potentially reaching around 120 million viewers.
