Pokémon HOME has been updated to version 4.0.0, enabling connectivity with both Pokémon Legends: ZA and Pokémon Champions. Players of Pokémon Legends: ZA who activate connectivity with HOME will receive special items. As a special bonus, transferring a Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: ZA to the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME for the first time will grant players alpha Chikorita, alpha Tepig, and alpha Totodile as Mystery Gifts on the mobile device version of the Pokémon HOME app. Important Note: Pokémon transferred to Pokémon Legends: ZA or Pokémon Champions cannot be moved back to previous main series titles. The update also includes the following: A new Mystery Gift for Pokémon Legends: ZA: a Portal for Mega Garchomp Z. The Mega Dimension DLC and Version 2.0.1 for Pokémon Legends: ZA, coming soon. Transferring Pokémon to Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Beyond with HOME Update

To move a Pokémon from Pokémon HOME to Pokémon Legends: Arceus, simply drag the desired Pokémon from the left side of the app to the storage boxes on the right within Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The transferred Pokémon can then be viewed in-game once the transfer is complete. This process will allow players to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Legends: ZA to Pokémon Champions when the game becomes available on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on April 8, 2026. The initial roster of Pokémon in Pokémon Champions includes many familiar Pokémon, allowing players to strategically build teams using well-known and proven contenders. Only Pokémon already present in the Pokémon Legends: ZA Pokédex can be transferred into the new game. While Pokémon Champions allows players to obtain Pokémon independently, fans of the core Pokémon games can utilize HOME to expand their Pokémon Champions roster with compatible creatures. With the Pokémon HOME update now live, players can begin exploring these new features and planning their transfers.
