Gamescom Latin America 2026 has announced the games selected for BIG Starter and BIG Highlight and launched its official online store, PlayersForLife. Big Festival’s BIG Starter initiative spotlights Brazilian independent game development. BIG Highlight showcases indie games from around the globe. The selected games were drawn from 966 entries to Gamescom Latin America’s Big Festival and will be featured in dedicated areas promoting independent games. These areas will offer public testing and opportunities for participating studios to present their projects to press, publishers, and industry partners. BIG Starter will feature 12 curated Brazilian games. BIG Highlight, a fully online, non-competitive international showcase, will present 16 independent games from 13 countries, including four from Latin America. The games selected for BIG Highlight will be playable on Steam during the festival. To further enhance the attendee experience, Gamescom Latin America 2026 has partnered with Hype (Level Up) to launch its official online store, PlayersForLife. Ticket holders for the 2026 event receive exclusive year-round benefits, including automatic, cumulative discounts on purchases. The store offers digital games, game credits, extra content, special promotional deals, subscriptions, and curated packages.

Gamescom Latin America 2026 Expands Experience with PlayersForLife Perks, Copa Libertadores, BIG Festival, and More

According to Gustavo Steinberg, CEO of Gamescom Latin America, PlayersForLife aims to provide a more complete experience by offering exclusive perks year-round. He added that limiting access to promotions and content to participants strengthens community bonds and adds value to the event. Gamescom Latin America 2026, taking place April 30 to May 3 in Sao Paulo, will also host the Copa Libertadores finals, an exclusive Control Resonant panel, appearances by David Wise, Brendan Greene, and Maxence Cazorla, opportunities to meet influencers, cosplayers, and content creators, esports competitions, and the BIG Festival, the world’s largest indie games award.
