According to insider Dusk Golem, Capcom is planning a remake of the 2012 Nintendo 3DS title Resident Evil Revelations. Dusk Golem, known for reliable Resident Evil leaks, posted on X that the directors of both Resident Evil Revelations and Resident Evil Revelations 2 now lead the main series at Capcom. Koshi Nakanishi, director of Resident Evil Revelations and now head of Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem team, oversees the project. Golem states that the original Revelations titles significantly influenced the direction of the Resident Evil series and are as relevant to Capcom as the main installments. The possibility of remaking Revelations 1 has been discussed.
