Marvel Rivals to Get Nintendo Switch 2 Version

Nintendo Switch 2 Version of Marvel Rivals in Development by NetEase

NetEase is developing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of its free-to-play multiplayer game Marvel Rivals, featuring Marvel Comics superheroes. While a specific release date remains unconfirmed, Marvel Games Executive Producer Danny Koo announced the Marvel Rivals port for the Nintendo Switch 2 at the Game Developers Conference. Koo told IGN that the team is actively working on the port and will announce further details as soon as they are available. However, Marvel Rivals Producer Weicong Wu has stated that the team has not yet received a Nintendo Switch 2 development kit. Industry observers speculate that Marvel Rivals could launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 by the end of 2026. Marvel Rivals initially launched on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, with a PlayStation 4 version added later. Season 7 of Marvel Rivals will launch on March 20 and will include White Fox. Black Cat will be introduced later in Season 7.5. Season 7 will also feature team-ups between Luna Snow and White Fox, as well as Storm and Adam Warlock. Upcoming character adjustments include nerfs to Daredevil, Elsa Bloodstone, and Winter Soldier, while Hulk, Black Panther, Deadpool, and Blade will receive buffs.
