Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's High-End Camera Captures Lollapalooza Brazil 2026 for TV Globo Broadcasts

Samsung has partnered with TV Globo to broadcast footage from Lollapalooza Brazil 2026, captured with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Lollapalooza Brazil 2026 will take place in March 2022 at the Interlagos Autodrome in Sao Paulo (SP); further details are available at Lollapaloozabr.com. As the official camera phone of Lollapalooza 2026, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will record content for broadcast on TV Globo's free and paid channels, as well as its social media platforms, under the banner of "POV Galaxy." This initiative, inspired by the point-of-view trend on social media, aims to highlight the recording and editing capabilities of the S26 Ultra. Lucia Bittar, Director of Mobile Experience Marketing at Samsung Brazil, stated, "If you want to show off camera evolution, do it in action." She added that broadcasting images from one of Brazil's largest music festivals on TV Globo will showcase the imaging prowess of the Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung and Globo will also enable festival attendees to contribute content. The image quality of the new Samsung Galaxy meets Globo's standards for audiovisual production, ensuring its visibility on TV Globo, Multishow, and other Globo platforms. Claudio Paim, speaking on behalf of Globo channels, noted that the partnership between Samsung, Cheil, and Suno agencies merges technology, creativity, and people’s passion for music and culture. He added that it highlights mobile phones as the premier tool for capturing life’s memorable moments. An amateur creator will collaborate with Globo talents during Lollapalooza Brasil 2026 to capture backstage moments, crowd interactions, and Samsung activations across all four days. The POV Galaxy initiative will showcase the photo and video technology of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, optimized for the vibrant atmosphere of music festivals. Content tagged with #MadeWithGalaxy will demonstrate features such as AV1 support. The Galaxy A device supports AV1, a professional-grade video codec that balances compression and quality. This feature enables advanced creators to produce high-quality video that remains sharp even after extensive editing.
