Remedy Discontinues Service Support for Game Firebreak

Discontinuation of Firebreak Support Paves Way for Control Resonant at Remedy Entertainment

Remedy Entertainment has discontinued service support for Firebreak, signaling a shift toward new projects after the release of its final content update, Open House. The game will remain available and playable. Launched in June 2025, Firebreak was Remedy’s first self-published title. The Open House update introduces the Friends Pass, which allows owners to invite friends who don't own the game to join their sessions. Coinciding with this update, the price of Firebreak has been permanently reduced to $19.99 for the base game and $29.99 for the deluxe edition. With Remedy Entertainment now focusing on Control Resonant, the Open House update delivers enhancements to Firebreak's Endless Shift game mode. The Friends Pass and the reduced pricing aim to ensure continued enjoyment for Firebreak players.
