Following a 24-hour social media campaign that included 23 teasers, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the first official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. This is the fourth Spider-Man solo film starring Tom Holland. Destin Daniel Cretton takes over directing duties from Jon Watts, exploring a new, street-level phase for the hero within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The trailer reveals a narrative directly connected to the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Peter Parker continues to operate in New York City, but with his identity erased from everyone's memory. Despite this, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon return as MJ and Ned, respectively. Four years after the events of No Way Home, Peter Parker is now an adult living on his own. Having erased himself from his loved ones' memories, he dedicates himself to protecting a New York City that no longer recognizes him as Spider-Man.

The film also teases an unexpected physical change that endangers Peter's life, as well as new crimes that lead him to one of his most formidable foes. The trailer confirms the return of Michael Mando as Mac Gargan, now in his Scorpion villain outfit—nine years after Mando's initial appearance in a post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Marvin Jones III appears as Tombstone, while Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Frank Castle (The Punisher), and Mark Ruffalo appears as Bruce Banner. Sadie Sink and Tramell Tillman also join the cast in unconfirmed roles. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for release in theaters on July 31, 2026.
