During the presentation of its fiscal year 2025 financial results, CD Projekt Red revealed that 499 employees are now dedicated to developing The Witcher 4. This figure, recorded as of February 28, 2026, represents over half the studio's workforce. CD Projekt Red, which increased its staff by 226 in the past year—a 24% gain—confirmed that most of these new hires are focused on enhancing The Witcher 4. The studio is also planning a new, currently unannounced project. The company report noted that the total number of employees across all projects recently rose from 707 to 993. Management has allocated the majority of the new personnel to The Witcher game to improve its quality and technological advancements. "In the current year, we plan to continue strengthening our development teams, working on key projects, and we want to continuously attract the best talents in the industry," said CD Projekt co-CEO Micha Nowakowski. The studio is currently developing two major projects: a Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, and The Witcher 4.
