Xbox Unveils Clay Challenge in April

Kiln Multiplayer Ceramics Brawler Launches April 23 - Open Beta on Steam April 9-11

Double Fine and Xbox will release Kiln, a multiplayer ceramics brawler for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, on April 23. Players compete to mold and paint clay, creating the finest ceramic works while destroying or altering their opponents' creations. Players interested in getting their hands dirty early have two opportunities: participate in the open beta on Steam from April 9–11 to test the game and provide feedback to influence development, or sign up for closed playtests before the official launch. According to Double Fine's Salas, the open beta will allow the development team to gather player feedback to influence future development decisions. Preorders for both the standard and Fired Up editions will also become available during the beta period. The Fired Up edition, priced at $29.99 (versus $19.99 for the standard edition), includes premium glazes, stickers, attachments, custom pots, and bonus chips, a special in-game currency. Kiln will also be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as an Xbox Play Anywhere title with Handheld Optimized features, allowing play on both console and PC.
