Initially released in Australia and the United States on July 6, Pokémon GO became available in Germany on July 13, the UK on July 14, Spain, Portugal, and Italy on July 15, and mainland Europe on July 16. Apple Watch support arrived worldwide in late 2016.

Pokémon GO Fest Highlights and Special Research Rewards in Global Events

Past Pokémon GO Fest events have included celebrations in London, Osaka, and New York, along with a global event. During the global event in 2023, Diancie made its debut, and trainers could catch it by completing special research. The event featured over 70 Pokémon, with opportunities to find their shiny variants. Pikachu wearing an aquamarine crown appeared, along with wild Marill, Shellos (Mare Ovest), and Goomy. On the second day, Pokémon habitats shifted dynamically. Pokémon GO Fest ticket holders could participate in a global challenge to unlock a special bonus for all players. Shiny Unown M, previously seen at the London, Osaka, and New York events, also appeared. Stay up-to-date with Pokémon GO by visiting the official blog and following the game on various social media platforms.
