eFootball Kick-Off Launches on June 4 for Nintendo Switch 2

Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. has announced that eFootball KickOff, a new installment in the eFootball franchise, will be released on June 3, 2026, as a digital download exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2. The game will be available globally at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time or 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. A physical GameKey Card edition will be available in Japan on the same day as the digital release for 3,850 yen. Players who preorder the digital edition will receive a Lionel Messi player card for use in World Tour mode. The official eFootball site will announce the preorder start date. eFootball KickOff marks the franchise’s debut on a Nintendo console, evolving from the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) series. Designed specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2, the game features responsive controls and intuitive gameplay suitable for both beginners and experienced players. The game celebrates over 30 years of football games, gathering national teams and clubs from around the world, featuring top players and iconic legends.

Players can jump into Quick Match mode, using real national teams and clubs without the need for team building. The International Cup mode will be available as a free update after the game’s launch. Six-a-Side Football offers a faster-paced version of normal gameplay. eFootball KickOff also introduces On-Pitch Dialogue and Easy Controls. An intuitive rank-based system is designed to help players of all levels learn essential moves. Multiplayer KickOff mode allows up to four players to compete locally using GameShare, provided one player owns the game. In this mode, up to three other players can join. The International Cup mode will be available as a free update after the game’s launch. eFootball KickOff features several modes, including World Tour (where players create and develop their own club) and additional downloadable experiences such as the International Cup. With local and online play options, players can enjoy quick matches against friends and competitors worldwide. Specifically developed for Nintendo Switch 2, the game features intuitive gameplay. Coinciding with this summer’s international football tournament in North America, eFootball KickOff provides players with an accessible and electrifying football experience that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere.
