The first certified LEGO store in Coimbra will open at Forum Coimbra on March 14th at 11:00 AM. Designed for LEGO fans of all ages, the store will feature a tribute to Coimbra, the "City of Students," to be unveiled at the opening. Customers can also find sought-after sets and exclusive products typically available only in official LEGO stores. The LEGO Group's expansion into Coimbra is a result of its ongoing partnership with Percassi, an Italian company specializing in franchising development and management. Since signing an agreement in 2016, Percassi has worked with LEGO to open certified stores exclusively dedicated to LEGO products in Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal. According to Rossana Mastrosimini, Channel Director of the LEGO Group, "We have long planned to expand beyond Lisbon and Porto, and Coimbra proved to be the ideal choice, both for its strategic location and the number of LEGO fans in the city. In the past three years, Portuguese fans have shown us great affection, so we believe this is the perfect moment to take another step and bring creativity and play to a new city in the country."
