Unrailed 2: Back On Track Heading to Consoles and PC

During today's Nintendo Indie World Showcase, Indoor Astronaut revealed a new trailer for Unrailed 2: Back On Track, announcing that the cooperative rail construction game is officially leaving Early Access and heading to consoles soon. Unrailed 2: Back on Track will launch in May 2026 as version 1.0 for PC. Native versions for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 will also be released at that time. A PlayStation 5 release is expected later in 2026. A demo is currently available on Nintendo Switch. The PlayStation 5 version will support GameShare, allowing players to share their games with friends. After the full game launches, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will also support GameShare. Indoor Astronaut will release more details about GameShare soon. The game first entered Early Access on PC on November 7, 2024. The new Nintendo Switch demo lets players explore the game's first biome, battle the boss, and experience local multiplayer with up to four players on a single console—a taste of the full cooperative experience.

Unrailed 2 Expands Tracks with New Modes, Biomes, and Multiplayer in May 2026

In Unrailed 2, up to four players collaborate to gather resources, build tracks, and keep their train from derailing as they navigate procedurally generated worlds.
