Capcom has scheduled a special broadcast for March 5 at 2 PM PT (5 PM ET) to unveil updates on previously announced games and announce the winners of the Mega Man: Dual Override Robot Master Design Contest. The broadcast, which will run for 30 minutes, will be subtitled in 13 languages and can be viewed on YouTube starting at 10 PM in Mainland Portugal (6 PM in Brazil). The Capcom Spotlight event will feature Alex, the newest Season 3 character in Street Fighter 6. AEW wrestler Kenny Omega, who provided motion capture for Alex, might also participate in the event. Alex is scheduled to arrive in Street Fighter 6 on March 17, 2026. Capcom will also present a Resident Evil showcase on March 18, with details about Resident Evil Village, which was released on May 7, 2021, and potentially updates regarding Resident Evil Requiem.

The March 5 livestream will focus on Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, Pragmata, Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, and Street Fighter 6. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and Pragmata are releasing on March 13 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam), with a later release on April 24 for Nintendo Switch and a potential release on Nintendo Switch 2. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection will also release on April 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). Street Fighter 6 is expected to launch on March 27, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The broadcast will also include details on online features for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. While the broadcast promises updates on several highly anticipated games, some fans are curious about Onimusha: Way of the Sword, another Capcom release expected in 2026. As this new Onimusha installment marks the return of a series dormant for 20 years and is expected in the latter half of the year, Capcom may reveal more information during summer events.
