PlayStation has officially announced that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released for PC on March 19. This PC release focuses on enhanced performance and visual fidelity, with full support for Nvidia DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4, and Intel XeSS technologies. A key feature is the introduction of Pico (Progressive Image Composer), the native upscaling system of the Decima engine, which is now available for use on various PC video cards. Developed by Guerrilla Games for the Decima engine, Pico debuted on the PS5 and now comes to PC, allowing players to use dynamic resolution scaling alongside upscaling options to fine-tune performance. Death Stranding 2 on PC: Ultrawide Formats & Optimized Performance for Multiple Resolutions

This PC version optimizes for cinematic immersion, supporting ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) formats, as well as a specific graphics preset for portable devices. The game consistently requires 16GB of RAM and 150GB of SSD space across all configurations. For ideal performance, PlayStation recommends an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 for 1080p gaming. For 1440p at 60fps, an RTX 3070 or RX 6800 is recommended. To enjoy 4K gaming at 60 FPS, players should use an RTX 4080 or RX 9070 XT. While the CPU requirements include older mainstream chips like the Intel Core i5-11400 and i7-11700, systems with newer processors may see increased headroom, particularly at 1080p.
