Tekken 8 Season 3 to Feature Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. the Boxing Kangaroo!

Tekken 8's Season 3, starting on February 10th, brings back fan favorites and addresses previous criticisms with a focus on balanced gameplay, improved defensive options, and a significant balance patch in March, aiming to reignite competition and restore the classic Tekken feel.

Despite its popularity and strong sales, Tekken 8 has faced recent challenges, including criticism of Season 2 and Katsuhiro Harada's departure from Bandai Namco. Season 3, however, is being presented as a return to the game's roots, with Bandai Namco promising significant changes and greater transparency. In contrast to previous seasons, three returning fighters have already been announced: Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr., the boxing kangaroo. A fourth, mystery fighter will be revealed later. Kunimitsu, a fan favorite, will launch the season this spring. Her gameplay has been updated to match the faster pace of Tekken 8. Bob will join the roster in the summer, retaining his classic moveset with added speed. Roger Jr. will return in the fall. The unknown fighter is scheduled for winter. Season Pass 3 launches on February 10th, coinciding with Tekken 8's second anniversary. Beyond the new characters, Season 3 focuses on addressing issues from the previous season. Bandai Namco aims to recapture the classic Tekken feel with a simpler, more intentional, and balanced gameplay experience. The focus will be on defensive play.

Tekken 8 Season 3 Revitalizes Gameplay with Balance Update, Aurore Costumes, and More!

Specifically, Bandai Namco plans to enhance mechanics like sidestepping to counter overly aggressive tactics. A major balance update is expected around March 17th, alongside a reset of the competitive season. Season Pass 3 will be priced at $39.99 and will include Aurore costumes. Season 3 aims to revitalize the game by reintroducing beloved characters and refining core gameplay mechanics, marking a fresh start for Tekken 8.
