To produce the film—a blend of live-action and animation featuring gameplay sequences inspired by the original 8-bit game—Tongal is collaborating with over 160,000 creatives. James DeJulio, drawing on his longtime passion for Tecmo Bowl, is leading the project. The film will translate the game’s 8-bit characters into 3D.
