Season 2 arrives on February 5th, delivering a major update to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, enhancing gameplay with new maps, a Zombies chapter, competitive modes, exclusive rewards, and a revamped Battle Pass. "Journey's End" introduces significant story developments, with Guild Strikes transforming areas into challenging Nightmare Zones featuring formidable enemies and high-value loot guarded by a final boss, demanding new strategies in dynamic zones. Season 2 highlights include the "Eagle Eye" ability, which emphasizes precision damage. Mid-season, players unlock "Sentinel Protocol," deploying a robot ally for revives and combat assistance, and the "Diabolic Motorcycle," a combat-ready bike equipped with area-of-effect attacks. Mid-season events include intense off-map challenges after defeating bosses, offering exclusive loot. The Exotic Fabricator system allows players to upgrade weapons to exotic levels with special effects, and new skills will be added to Nightmare modes, expanding Operator customization options.

Multiplayer experiences expand with classic and new maps, returning modes updated for modern gameplay, and ranked games. At launch, players can battle on Torment (6v6), Sake (6v6), Nexus (6v6 and 2v2), and the returning Slums from Black Ops 2. Mid-season additions include Torque, Cliff Town (a reworked Yemen), Mission: Peak (20v20), Grind, and Firing Range. Returning modes include Protection and Deathmatch, alongside limited-time modes (LTMs) such as Confirmed, Solo Hearts Mosh Pit, Hold the Line, Gauntlet, and Infected. The Scoring Series introduces the mid-season Sureshot Pistol, a smart weapon for engaging multiple targets simultaneously. Ranked Matches feature 4v4 competitive play under Call of Duty League (CDL) rules. Players earn Skill Rating (SR) through placement matches and can unlock exclusive rewards like skins, camouflage, and weapon blueprints. Warzone's Battle Royale transforms Rebirth Island into a snow-covered landscape featuring new combat and exploration zones, complete with icy gameplay updates like snow tracks and freezing storms. Skilled squads can compete in Ranked Play, alongside varied limited-time modes. A new Battle Royale map, Avalon, inspired by Black Ops 4’s Blackout, arrives mid-season.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 - Season 2 Battle Pass Unlocks and Rewards

The Battle Pass offers 119 rewards, including weapons and exclusive Operator skins, unlocking items such as the Rev46 and H311saw weapons, plus a Victoria Atwood skin, as players earn points. Players gain early access to the new Phantom operator and alternative skins, as well as the Mastercraft Weapon project. Extra rewards and XP bonuses are awarded for simply playing, and Blackcell members gain permanent XP each season. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is available now, unlocking all Season 2 content.
