End of Apex Legends Support on Original Nintendo Switch by August 4, 2026 for Season 30 Transition to Newer Platforms
Electronic Arts has announced that support for Apex Legends on the original Nintendo Switch will end on August 4, 2026, with the launch of Season 30. Respawn Entertainment will focus on maintaining the quality of the game on newer platforms such as the Switch 2, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. According to EA, continued support for the original Switch became technically challenging due to ongoing updates. Players on the original Nintendo Switch should use any premium currency before that date. Electronic Arts will allow players to transfer all earned items, cosmetics, and player progress to the Switch 2. Apex Legends players who wish to continue playing should transition to the Switch 2 or another supported platform before Season 30.
