Devil May Cry Creator Tired of Insects

Devil May Cry Revival Requests Irk Kamiya Despite Okami's Return

Game creator Hideki Kamiya, celebrated for titles like Okami and Bayonetta, has recently expressed his frustration with persistent fan requests. On X (formerly Twitter), Kamiya responded to a fan who praised him for creating the Devil May Cry series, despite his limited involvement with the first installment. While initially thankful, Kamiya rebuked another fan who urged him to continue the series after Itsuno's departure. "I've said it a gazillion times, Capcom owns the rights... insects... buzz off," Kamiya wrote. Kamiya's blunt response dismissed the fans' requests as ill-considered. Some fans remain hopeful that his new Okami project might lead to another Devil May Cry collaboration with Capcom.
