Genigods: Nezha - Epic Action RPG in Unreal Engine 5 for PS5 & PC

Genigods Lab, a Chinese studio, has announced Genigods: Nezha, its upcoming single-player action RPG for PlayStation 5 and PC, joining a growing number of Chinese developers in this genre. The game draws heavily from Chinese mythology, featuring Nezha, a famous figure known for battling the Colossal Gods. In this hardcore RPG, players control the Spiritual Pearl, the first creation of the goddess Nuwa, reincarnated as Nezha. Players must restore the fragmented sky through three major tasks, using dynamic combat with two distinct stances and mechanics like relic fusion. Inspired by Bruce Lee’s “be water” philosophy, combat emphasizes quick reactions and fluid movements in battles against massive creatures. Genigods Lab is developing this epic adventure using Unreal Engine 5, optimized for the PlayStation 5.
