PUBG Mobile Launches Fan Fest Breaking GUINNESS WORLD RECORD

PUBG Mobile recently announced that it earned a new Guinness World Record for the most people performing a coordinated salute across multiple locations. This achievement occurred during Friend Fest Global, a celebration of friendship intended to unite players worldwide through both in-game events and offline gatherings. Friend Fest began on January 23 and runs until February 16. On January 25, PUBG Mobile players attempted to break the Guinness World Record at four locations: Lapangan Banteng Park in Jakarta, Indonesia; Fisekhane in Istanbul, Turkey; Guzeria Youth Center in Cairo, Egypt; and Fatima Jinnah Park (F9 Park) in Islamabad, Pakistan. A total of 392 players participated in this event, connecting communities in each city. Friend Fest allows players to mark checkpoints on the Erangel and Livik maps, turning them pink and triggering special shows that intensify with the number of players nearby. In-game, players can also gift floral arrangements like the Destiny Dance Bouquet or Surprise Bouquet to friends, unlocking in-game items such as floral veils and sunflower cap accessories.

PUBG Mobile's Global Friend Fest Expands with Floral Activities and Interactive Challenges

The flower-themed activities of PUBG Mobile's Friend Fest extend to regions such as Western Europe, Africa, and Southeast Asia, where players can display PUBG Mobile merchandise at floriculture sites to receive free flowers. Turkish players participated in a Super Handshake event that included flower workshops and photo areas. On January 24, Paris hosted the PUBG Mobile Friend Fest Community Cruise. Players and creators along the Seine River engaged in interactive challenges inspired by the game, including head-to-head competitions, creator-led TDMs, and Peaky Blinders-themed tasks. Indonesian players can visit designated cafes across the country until February 25 to participate in tournaments and creative matches in Wonderland. The Panforpan challenge at Lapangan Batas Park offers a Golden Pan prize for participants who create their own frying pan by January 31. The Glass Room tournament, a 1v1 battle viewed by spectators, will run until January 28. PUBG Mobile is available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.
