Square Enix, known for franchises such as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, is re-entering the multiplayer arena with Killer Inn. Developed by Tactic Studios, this action game with a mystery twist launches on Steam in early access on February 12. The development team will use player feedback to refine the game during this period. Even in early access, Killer Inn will offer a premium Battle Pass, weapon and character skins, and other cosmetic items for purchase. Players can also choose to unlock certain characters immediately for a fee, allowing for greater customization from the start. In Killer Inn, 24 players are pitted against each other as either wolves or sheep. Players can use traps, weapons, and deduction to achieve their goals, making teamwork essential. The announcement trailer is available on YouTube.
