Actor and style icon Joao Guilherme, who sees gaming as integral to modern life, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "PlayStation’s always been there for me. I’m thrilled to be on their team." The new lineup also features humorist Joao Dias and singer-influencer Ananda, adding creativity and musical influence. PlayStation is also bringing back familiar faces like Nyvi Estephan, a prominent figure in gaming and eSports, and Bruno Correa, a tech and gaming expert. Over the coming year, the team will collaborate to promote new games and demonstrate how gaming fits into different lifestyles, integrating it into culture.

Expanded PlayStation Brazil's Playmakers Team with New Ambassadors Bruno Correa, Nyvi Estephan, Joao Guilherme, Ananda, and Joao Dias

Rafael Stival, PlayStation Latin America's marketing director, emphasized the importance of partnering with genuine fans who can reach a wide range of people. He noted that previous collaborations with figures like Ana Maria Braga and Gabriel Medina have paved the way for this global initiative, PlayStation Playmakers, which seeks to connect with pop culture, entertainment, and sports. Stival also cited PlayStation's long-standing sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League since 1997, as well as collaborations with the NBA, EVO, Sony Music, and Sony Pictures, as examples of PlayStation's broader strategy to become a central part of the entertainment landscape. A premiere video on PlayStation Brasil's Instagram features Bruno Correa and Nyvi Estephan introducing the new Playmakers: Joao Guilherme, Ananda, Brino, and Joao Dias. The video captures the informal launch party, using a reality show and documentary approach to highlight the humor and spontaneous interactions among the ambassadors. It includes moments from the party and direct-to-camera testimonials, offering reactions and behind-the-scenes insights to foster authenticity and community engagement.
