LEGO Opens Fourth Portuguese Store in Coimbra's Cultural Hub

A certified LEGO store is opening at Forum Coimbra this spring, bringing colored LEGO bricks to the city. This will be the fourth such location in Portugal, joining existing stores at Centro Colombo, NorteShopping, and Armazens do Chiado. LEGO is partnering with Percassi, an Italian company specializing in franchising development and management, to open the Coimbra location. According to Rossana Mastrosimini, Channel Director of Certified LEGO Stores in Western Europe, this expansion is a response to the enthusiasm of the Portuguese LEGO community since the first store opening. Vera Bortolato, General Manager of Percassi Retail, expressed excitement about opening in Coimbra, a city known for its university and cultural heritage, and welcoming LEGO fans. The store will feature city-themed decorations, exclusive sets, regular deals, and surprises for everyone. The 200 m store in Coimbra will host events and offer LEGO products throughout the year, further expanding LEGO's global presence of over 1,000 stores.
