The Millennium Tales’ Brazil Rating Suggests Approaching Release

Fans of Japanese RPGs, particularly those of Square Enix and HD-2D games, are eagerly awaiting The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Announced in July 2025, this upcoming title sees Tomoya Asano helping to create a new pixel art experience reminiscent of the classics, but with action combat. While the game is slated for release in 2026, a specific date has not yet been announced. However, that may change soon, as The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales has received an age rating in Brazil. This rating, which grants access to the entire game content, suggests Square Enix is preparing to announce a release date, potentially in the first half of 2026, for the Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PC versions. A demo is currently available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 owners. The Brazilian rating board gave The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales a rating of 12+. Notably, the rating makes no mention of the Xbox Series platform. The game’s certification in Brazil, with a rating of 12+, strongly indicates that Square Enix will announce the release plans in the near future.
