Mario Kart World Receives Another Update: Here's What It Changes

Updated Mario Kart World Addresses Controller Disconnection Issue for Smoother Gameplay

With Christmas approaching, Mario Kart World is expected to be a popular title on the Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo is releasing frequent updates to optimize the player experience, including a new patch that just went live. Here's what's new in Mario Kart World: The game received a second update this month from Nintendo. Version 1.4.1 is smaller than the 1.4.0 update released at the beginning of December. According to the official Nintendo support page, the 1.4.1 update resolves an issue where ghost data from Time Trials could be unexpectedly deleted from the View Rankings section if a player disconnected and then reconnected a controller during gameplay. To install the update on Nintendo Switch 2, select the game icon, press the "+" button, navigate to "Update," and then select "Via Internet," unless automatic updates are enabled. Players can now enjoy an even smoother Mario Kart World experience during the holidays, and recent reports suggest Nintendo may be planning future content for the game.
