PlayStation Teams Up with K-pop Group QWER for Single Release and Music Video Collaboration

Sony is expanding its PlayStation 5 promotional strategy by partnering with the K-pop group QWER, adding to its previous collaborations with Asian artists in Japan. According to an article by Bruno Galvao published on Ghost of Yotei on December 12, 2025, QWER will release a single in collaboration with PlayStation. Since their debut in October 2023, QWER has received multiple accolades, including Best Song of 2025 at the MAMA Awards for “Dear.” This success led to the collaboration with PlayStation for the single “Be Happy – QWER with PlayStation,” scheduled for release on December 17th. The group announced the release via a video shared on social media and YouTube, which prominently features a DualSense controller, hinting at the PlayStation theme of the upcoming music video. “Be Happy” is a track from QWER’s third EP, released in June 2025, and the collaboration will feature a PlayStation-themed music video to celebrate the end-of-year festivities.
