Enhanced Lords of the Fallen Challenges with Updated Boss Behavior and Veteran Mode
Update 2.5 for Lords of the Fallen (version 1.092 on consoles) is now available for free on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. This final update from CI Games and Hexworks increases the challenge and unpredictability of encounters, focusing on significant improvements to enemy and boss behaviors. Key features of the update include: Enhanced Enemy and Boss Behavior: Enemies and bosses in Legacy Mode feature faster attacks, altered timings, and increased aggressiveness, raising the intensity of combat. Veteran Mode: A new difficulty option for players seeking a greater challenge. Veteran Mode increases enemy aggression and introduces new attack patterns, while also accelerating enemy recovery times. Once selected, this difficulty setting cannot be changed. Exclusive Reward: Completing Veteran Mode unlocks the Veteran of the Veil armor set, which also increases the chances of obtaining rare items. Legendary Boss Weaponry: Legendary boss weapons now feature new signature attack animations. This update concludes support for the original game. CI Games has also hinted at major announcements regarding Lords of the Fallen II during the Game Awards 2025. The developers have expressed their gratitude to the community for their feedback.
