New Tomb Raider Leaks Prior to Unveiling at The Game Awards

Leaked Images of Tomb Raider Legacy of Atlantis Remake Ahead of The Game Awards Unveiling

Images of the new Tomb Raider game have leaked ahead of its scheduled reveal at The Game Awards. The title is a remake of the original 1996 game developed by Core Design, aiming to unify the various Tomb Raider series and present a more mature Lara Croft than seen in the recent trilogy. Amazon Games will publish the title, and rumors suggest it will share a universe with an upcoming TV series starring Sophie Turner as Lara Croft, with the possibility of Sigourney Weaver also joining the cast. The game, possibly titled Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, will be officially unveiled tonight at The Game Awards, starting at 21:30 Brasilia time, along with its first trailer. The new design blends Lara Croft's classic style with the look she sported in the most recent trilogy. Sources indicate that the new Tomb Raider project might encompass two games: a fresh mainline entry alongside a revamp of the original. Leaked screenshots have also been shared unofficially by a user named Tarada Croft. Fans can anticipate more official details as the reveal approaches.
