Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow Trailer Debuts Tomorrow - Craig Gillespie's Adaptation

James Gunn previously announced that the first trailer for Supergirl would be released this week, and the debut date is now set for December 11. The Supergirl film, scheduled for release in late June 2026, is based on Tom King and Bilquis Evely's acclaimed comic series, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. Craig Gillespie directs, with Milly Alcock starring as Supergirl. Alcock's debut in the DCU came in 2025. Joining her is Jason Momoa as Lobo. A stellar supporting cast includes Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze, and Ferdinand Kingsley as Elias Knoll. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow introduces a Kara Zor-El who, despite her past adventures, feels adrift. The film's tagline, "Truth. Justice. I Don't Give a Damn," signals a bolder take on the character, portraying Kara confronting the consequences of her choices. Accompanying the trailer release, a new poster and onepager details have emerged, hinting at an unexpected alliance as Kara embarks on a mission beyond Earth. The first trailer drops tomorrow at 9 AM Pacific Time or 12 PM Eastern Standard Time. A countdown is already live on YouTube.
