Future of Tomb Raider Unveiled at The Game Awards 2025

Crystal Dynamics will reveal the future of the Tomb Raider series at The Game Awards 2025, which takes place on December 11 in Brazil and December 12 in mainland Portugal. Geoff Keighley, the event's creator, confirmed the reveal in a video, stating that the producer intends to showcase the future of the iconic video game series. While Keighley only mentioned "the future," and not specifically a new game, a trailer for the Prime Video live-action series seems unlikely, as it is still in early development. The primary focus of the event is expected to be the Tomb Raider announcement. Other games and series scheduled to appear at The Game Awards include: Skate Story Octopath Traveler 0 Sleep Awake Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Routine Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery Wicked: For Good The Running Man Predator: Badlands Stranger Things season 5 volume 1 Pluribus season 1 The Witcher season 4 IT: Welcome to Derry Splinter Cell: Deathwatch.
