Code Vein II Reveals New Character Trailer Featuring Lyle McLeish

Code Vein II Unveils Lyle McLeish and New Characters, Plus Customization Options

On November 5th, Bandai Namco revealed that Lyle McLeish will feature in the latest character trailer for CODE VEIN II. As the leader – or "top dog" – of The Dawn Chorus, McLeish is a highly skilled swordsman known for his selfless and impulsive fighting style. This often concerns his allies, leading him to operate independently within the Corrupted Scar region, which The Dawn Chorus strives to reclaim. In combat, McLeish excels as an evasive and versatile attacker effective at any range. He utilizes the Raikasen ability to unleash a wide, lightning-infused strike and strategically employs medium-range magical forms. His Overmarch buff increases the attack power of both himself and the player until one of them gets hit. McLeish's bond trait grants Ichor upon successfully dodging enemy attacks, rewarding players who anticipate enemy movements and favoring an aggressive playstyle. The CODE VEIN II trailer also introduced two new characters: Josee Anjou, the Queen of Solitude, and Holly Asturias, a healer known as the Reaper Witch. Furthermore, CODE VEIN II will offer extensive customization options for the protagonist, including diverse body types, hairstyles, facial expressions, accessories, and makeup.
