Arvore Crafts Interactive VR Experience for First Official The Boys Game in 2026
Arvore, a Brazilian studio recognized worldwide for XR content, is developing The Boys: Trigger Warning, the first official VR game set in the Amazon Prime Video universe. The game is scheduled for release in March 2026, the result of a direct collaboration between Arvore, the series creators, and Sony Pictures Virtual Reality. Preorders are available now on Meta Quest 3, and the game can be wishlisted for PlayStation VR2. View the announcement trailer online. Arvore previously won a Primetime Emmy in 2020 for The Line and is known for creating immersive mixed-reality games. Their collaboration with the series directors on Trigger Warning allowed them to craft an original story that fits into the official universe timeline. Arvore's CEO, Ricardo Justus, stated that they are enhancing their immersive storytelling to transform the chaos, dark humor, and over-the-top violence of The Boys into interactive VR experiences. He added that their close work with the series creators ensures that fans will feel those iconic emotions through Arvore's unique blend of art and tech.
The Boys VR Experience: Unraveling Secrets with Lucas and The Boys in First-Person Action
In The Boys: Trigger Warning, players assume the role of Lucas, a Vought employee whose life spirals as he uncovers disturbing secrets about a superhero family. Seeking answers and revenge, Lucas joins The Boys on an infiltration mission filled with unpredictable powers and surprises. Actors from the series, including Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke), are reprising their roles, along with a twisted take on Soldier Boy. Series composers Chris Lennertz and Matt Bowen are also contributing their musical talents to the game. Arvore CCO Ricardo Laganaro, along with directors Rodrigo Blanco and Thomas Leme, said that they used all their immersive storytelling knowledge to fully involve players in the universe. Laganaro noted that while dodging Homelander or getting recruited by M.M. and Butcher is fun to watch on TV, doing it in first-person VR elevates the experience. The team worked with the series creators to ensure an authentic feel, blending narrative innovation, physical interaction, dark humor, stealth, and over-the-top violence into the game.
The Boys: Trigger Warning - Arvore's Global XR Milestone, March 2026 Release
Rodrigo Terra, CEO of Arvore, called the game a major milestone for both the studio and Brazil's gaming and VR/XR scene. He stated that Trigger Warning demonstrates their ability to lead global XR projects and represents a significant step for the national industry. Arvore's past work includes games like The Line, Yuki, and the Pixel Ripped series (Pixel Ripped 1989, 1995, and 1978). These games have earned the studio accolades such as a 2020 Primetime Emmy Award, a Lion at the Venice Film Festival, a D.I.C.E. Awards nomination, and the Best VR/XR Game award at the 2023 Big Festival. The Boys: Trigger Warning is scheduled for release in March 2026 on Meta Quest 3 and PlayStation VR2.
