Ubisoft Offers a Big Free Game to Keep and It's Really Good

Ubisoft's Free Immortals Fenyx Rising Celebrates Ubisoft Connect Anniversary and Boasts Breath of the Wild Comparisons

In late November of last year, Ubisoft commemorated the fifth anniversary of its Connect platform. As an alternative to Steam and the Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect exclusively features Ubisoft titles. To celebrate, Ubisoft released a new version of its PC interface and offered Immortals Fenyx Rising for free through December 2, 2025. Despite recent financial difficulties, Ubisoft has moved forward with a restructuring plan involving "creative houses," supported by investment from Tencent. As part of this initiative, Ubisoft is consolidating its most popular franchises—Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, and Rainbow Six—into a single team called Vantage Studios. While awaiting the results of this restructuring, Ubisoft celebrated the fifth anniversary of its Connect platform by offering PC users the standard edition of Immortals Fenyx Rising completely free until December 2, 2025. The game, released in 2020, features heroes from Greek and Chinese mythology in a colorful action-adventure setting. Some critics have drawn comparisons to Nintendo's Breath of the Wild. The free game also includes Breath of the Wild DLC and other bonus content. To claim the standard edition of Immortals Fenyx Rising on Ubisoft Connect: 1. Ensure you have a Ubisoft Connect account.

Connect will then add the game to your library on PC. This offer is valid until December 2, 2025. The game also includes three additional DLCs.
