New Vigor Pursuit Season Unveils Hunting Theme, Oen Map Debut, and Weapon Mastery System

Bohemia Interactive has announced that Vigor Pursuit, the latest season of its free-to-play shooter game, is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam. A new trailer highlights the hunting theme of this season. According to Bohemia Interactive, Season 25's Battle Pass offers players ("Outlanders") traditional hunting attire, as well as contemporary looks with camo prints, leather gear, and elite sniper clothing. One of the most requested community features, a new encounter map called Oen, makes its debut this season, spanning various windswept islands and featuring abandoned structures with plenty of loot. Encounters will now include random effects revealed in the lobby before matches. Radiation waves, power outages, bombardments, and extreme weather effects will introduce new variables to encounter match gameplay. The update expands the arsenal with the M62 assault rifle, the Vz.82 pistol, and the M7 bayonet knife. Players can unlock a new weapon mastery system alongside these weapons by achieving gold medals in each weapon's shooting challenge.
