Battlefield 6 Bans Most Cheaters, Record-Breaking 2.4 Million Attempts Blocked by EA's Anti-Cheat System Javelin

EA's Relentless Crackdown on Cheating in Battlefield 6 - Over 2.4 Million Attempts Blocked by Javelin

Since its release on October 10th, Electronic Arts' (EA) anti-cheat system, Javelin, has blocked approximately 2.4 million cheating attempts in Battlefield 6. According to EA, about 98% of matches were free of cheating in the first week after launch, meaning most players experienced relatively cheat-free games. Javelin also prevented nearly 1.2 million cheating attempts during Battlefield 6's open beta test, demonstrating its effectiveness prior to the game's official release. EA has been monitoring approximately 190 cheating software programs, hardware vendors, resellers, and their associated communities; to date, 183 of these monitored entities have triggered errors or alerts, or have been shut down entirely. EA plans to further enhance its anti-cheat measures by exploring additional security features for various operating systems, combating cheating hardware, refining reporting processes, and strengthening internal tools. However, EA is withholding specific details to prevent cheat developers from circumventing these new measures. In summary, EA is actively combating cheating in Battlefield 6, and this ongoing effort to combat those attempting to exploit the system continues.
