SEGA to Release Free Soccer Game to Compete with FM26

Sega Football Club Champions 2026 - Cross-Platform, Authentic Soccer Management Game

Sega Football Club Champions 2026, a free-to-play football management game featuring cross-platform play, will be released on January 22, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC (via Steam), iOS, and Android. In SakaTsuku, players manage their own football club, utilizing Football Manager technology and authentic FIFPRO data, which includes real-world players and international leagues. Managers can compete in leagues such as Japan's J League and South Korea's K League. Starting with a small club, players develop young talent, plan training sessions, build infrastructure, and strategically manage their team to reach the top. Players can test their tactics in online multiplayer matches, compete in tournaments, and climb the leaderboards. Pre-registration for Sega Football Club Champions 2026 is now open; early sign-ups will unlock bonuses for all players. The release date was moved to January 2026, as SEGA used the additional time to incorporate feedback from the closed beta, fine-tune details, and deliver a more polished game with fewer bugs and more options. Stay informed about the latest updates on the game's official social media pages.
